According to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the export value of Pakistani seafood from July 2022 to June 2023 was $496 million, exceeding the same period of $430 million from 2021 to 2022, an increase of 15.18%.

In May of this year, the export value of Pakistani seafood was 50.578 million US dollars, while in June, the export value of seafood was 39.644 million US dollars, a decrease of 21.62% month on month and 3.37% year-on-year. The export volume in May was 22081 tons, while in June, the export volume was 18735 tons, a decrease of 15.15% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 4.04%.
